What Are You Reading? @dhnevins @R_CooleyWilson💖❤️💖

This has been an interesting week. I am taking care of my sick 8 year old and trying to get in reading time in between work, night time (which is normally husband time) talking about our day and me trying to sneak in some reading.  Hopefully she gets better soon.

I have started reading Nox book three of A Royal Protector Academy Novel.  I have also downloaded Wormwood by D.H. Nevins. Getting ready to start that book. I am looking forward to that one.

Have you ever found yourself reading two or more books at once? Did you feel as if you were cheating on the other?

Oh no, I hope your daughter feels better! Having a sick child is awful.

I often read more than one book, because I usually have one going on my Kindle and one physical book, which I tend to read at different times. 🙂

Right now, I’m reading Of Fools and Mortals by Bernard Cornwell. Haven’t started it just yet (I finished my Kindle book yesterday and my physical book today, so I just started new books today), but my Kindle book will be The Wolf by Leo Carew.

Wormwood is on my to-read list. Which I keep saying. And it is. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll get to it until next month. =/ I maaay have been just a tab ambitious on my reading goals this month.

    1. Thanks. I hope she feels better soon too. What is your reading goal this month? Have you every found that you get more captivated by one back and stop reading the other?

Well, it’s midway through the month, and I have about six galleys that I should probably read by the end of the month. Plus a book club book and I think two personal reading. So…yeah. Oops? I need a time turner to help cram more reading into a day, obviously.

And yes, totally! I read The Cruel Prince and shoved everything to the side to finish it after I hit about midway and stuff really got going. xD I couldn’t stop. But that often happens when I get way into one book over the other.

  2. I usually have 2-3 books going at the same time. The trick for me is different genres and formats. I am listening to a paranormal audiobook and reading a fairytale retelling Kindle at the moment, thinking of picking up a mystery thriller paperback. It helps keep things separate. Plus, I take notes.

I hope your daughter is feeling better soon! It is no fun to be sick 😦
