Bring Me Back
by B.A. Paris
Published: June 19, 2018
Synopsis:
She went missing. He moved on. A whole world of secrets remained—until now.
Finn and Layla are young, in love, and on vacation. They’re driving along the highway when Finn decides to stop at a service station to use the restroom. He hops out of the car, locks the doors behind him, and goes inside. When he returns Layla is gone—never to be seen again. That is the story Finn told to the police. But it is not the whole story.
Ten years later Finn is engaged to Layla’s sister, Ellen. Their shared grief over what happened to Layla drew them close and now they intend to remain together. Still, there’s something about Ellen that Finn has never fully understood. His heart wants to believe that she is the one for him…even though a sixth sense tells him not to trust her.
Then, not long before he and Ellen are to be married, Finn gets a phone call. Someone from his past has seen Layla—hiding in plain sight. There are other odd occurrences: Long-lost items from Layla’s past that keep turning up around Finn and Ellen’s house. Emails from strangers who seem to know too much. Secret messages, clues, warnings. If Layla is alive—and on Finn’s trail—what does she want? And how much does she know?
A tour de force of psychological suspense, Bring Me Back will have you questioning everything and everyone until its stunning climax.
💭 MY THOUGTS 💭
Bring Me Back…. Exhilarating, Gripping, Engaging.
This is a exhilarating read. It left me guessing until a couple chapters before the end. Even then the unexpected still happened. You know that feeling where you feel you have figured it out but what you thought is not at all what it was. I love that feeling that mystery and this book gave it to me.
The smart, devious, mysterious Ellen and the confusing Layla. Why did she do the things she did? Is she alive? Is she dead? What the hell is going on!!!????
I loved how B.A. peeled the onion open in this book. Little layer at a time. There are three parts and each part you get to learn more about Ellen, Layla and Finn’s relationship. All the characters played important roles. I loved how they were all interlinked. Very well written book.
Once I got to Part two of the book I thought I had it figured out but then I was left questioning again. 🤔
So engaged in this mystery I sat at my desk reading on my phone instead doing the important task that I being paid for, how well…
I felt bad for Finn, the emotional and mental stress that he went through, it just wasn’t right. If you love someone why do that????
The ending of this book left me in AWE!!!….. POOR FINN…..😪
This book I recommend to all. A MUST READ….. 😍
My Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟
These are the kinds of suspenseful books I crave! Will add to my list. ❤

So glad you enjoyed this one, I have seen such mixed reviews. I loved the two books I have already read by this author and have been putting off this one. I hope I enjoy it as much as you did.

The Break Down was good, I enjoyed that one also. I bought Behind Closed Doors but haven’t read that as yet. Hope you enjoy this one too.
