Hi all. It’s almost the weekend.

It has been 6 months since I walked away from my job and decided to stay home with my newborn and older girls. I must say that it hasn’t been as easy as I thought it would be. I thought I would be so organized and be able to get so much stuff done. Ha, Ha, Ha…

With a newborn that went out the window. At times, I feel lost and drained but I know it is worth it in the long run. I also have to remember to not lose myself in the process, it’s important for me to schedule some time for me. I am still working on that.

In the meantime I have been reading when I can. Look out for my weekly Friday Reviews which will start tomorrow. I finished Little Secret by Jennifer Hillier I must say…

I am currently reading Fake It ‘Till You Break it by Meagan Brandy. What R you Reading?

Synopsis:

Fake.
That’s what we are.
That’s what we agreed to be.

I thought it would be harder, convincing everyone our school’s star receiver was mine and mine alone, but we played our parts well.

So well, the lines between us began to blur until they disappeared completely.

The thing about pretending, though, someone’s always better at it, and by the time I realized my mistake, there was no going back.

I fell for our lie.
And then everything fell apart.

It turned out, he and I were never playing the same game.

He didn’t have to break me to win.
But he did it anyway.

Being home with your children is a wonderful opportunity and something that will bring joy and memories that will last a lifetime. I agree, when my son was born, I seemed to be even more disorganized than when I was working full time. I am reading For Love or Money by Clodagh Murphy. So far I am enjoying it. Have a good weekend.
