HARD PASS by USA Today Bestselling Author Sara Ney is available now.  I want to thank Dani @wildfiremarketingsolutions for providing an earc so that I could share my thoughts with you.

See what I think below.

“Hard Pass.”
That’s what the last girl I slept with said when she got her first sober glimpse of me. She laughed, walked out of my penthouse—and I never saw her again. It doesn’t matter that I’m a rich, professional athlete; what mattered was my face.

Beauty might only be skin deep for some—but I know better.

“Pay Up.”
That’s what the last girl I spoke to said over the phone when I made her an offer she couldn’t refuse. Desperate to sell a set of rare baseball cards, she’s clever and entertaining. I’m instantly smitten, but nowhere ready to reveal myself. Thank god she has no idea who I am—or what I look like.

I’m a professional athlete–how hard can playing the love game be?

My thoughts

Hard Pass is a charming book.

Noah a recluse  professional baseball player. He doesn’t like the limelight because of his insecurities which stems from interactions with women in his past.

Miranda is confident, driven, sassy and takes no mess from anyone. My kind of girl.

I like that this book tackled Noah’s insecurities and how those insecurities play on a persons mentality. Many times we read or see in society where women are they ones that are so so self conscious of their looks. It’s refreshing to read about image insecurities this deeply from a male perspective.

Overall Hard Pass is a charismatic read, a touch a reality, a touch of fantasy, swoon moments, hilarious and captivating.
