Happy Fourth of July. 🇺🇸🇺🇸 🎆🎇🎆 I am sad that I will not be spending this 4th with family and friends. Drinking, laughing, dancing and just having a great time. Well we all have to do what we can. We will be grilling and watching fireworks with the immediate family.
Hope you all have a safe and have a great 4th.

Secret Legacy: The Windhaven Witches #1 by Carissa Andrew’s. I am going to be giving a quick summary of my thoughts of this book. This book will be available September 8, 2020.
Family Secrets Shrouded in Death. An Ancestral Home with Secrets of its Own. And a Legacy of Power She Can’t Escape.
When Autumn gets a full scholarship invite to the Windhaven Academy, an exclusive college meant for witches and other supernaturals, she thinks someone in the head office has clearly made a mistake. She’s a mundane human with no special abilities whatsoever. Or so she thinks.
Ever since she moved into her dad’s ancestral home to give Windhaven Academy a try, strange things have been happening. There are weird, secret rooms in the house and her new friends keep urging her to learn more about her past in order to unlock her powers.
When Autumn finally uncovers her family’s secret legacy, she wants nothing more than to turn back time or walk away. But fate has other plans and if she doesn’t bow to the power coursing through her, she could destroy the entire fabric of life and death.
Secret Legacy (The Windhaven Witches, #1)
I have mixed emotions about this one. The synopsis grabbed me, I couldn’t wait to read this book. There is a mystery around Autumn she is invited to attend the illustrious Windhaven Academy. She doesn’t understand why or what her magical power is.
The book is about Autumn finding her power. There are secrets that every one holds but no one is willing to share with Autumn. The story becomes repetitive and mundane. There was such a built up of Autumn’s power that once it was revealed it was anticlimactic.
Overall Secret Legacy (The Windhaven Witches #1) has some mystery, it’s easy-to-read and unexpected.
